The Alpen tower is situated majestically high above the Haslital, at 2,250 meters above sea level. The fantastic 360-degree panoramic view far beyond the Bernese Oberland and Central Switzerland's high Alps continues to impress. Enjoy a delicious breakfast buffet with wonderful views before setting out on a hike. We offer the well-known breakfast buffet every day in summer.

The Alpen tower panorama restaurant is the starting point for numerous hikes in the Meiringen-Hasliberg adventure area. One of the most famous hikes takes you along the Horizontweg to Engstlenalp, where you can hike towards Engelberg or comfortably take the Engstlenalp bus back to Meiringen.

In winter, our tower bar on the top floor is open for you every day. Enjoy a Haslital cheese fondue or a small snack here before heading back on the slopes or taking the gondola to Mägisalp.
