Mürren-Schilthorn
Jungfrau Region
Jungfrau Region
After a cosy James Bond Brunch in the 360° restaurant Piz Gloria on the 2970-metre-high Schilthorn, the Mürren-Schilthorn ski area offers pistes for every level. Beginners make their first turns at the ski school grounds, directly in the car-free mountain village of Mürren. Kids will have a great snow adventure on the Kidsslope on the Allmendhubel, where waves and lots of animal friends make for fun rides.
Adrenalin is guaranteed on piste no. 9, the Direttissima! With a gradient of 88%, it is the steepest piste in the Jungfrau region.
Freestylers, on the other hand, have fun in the Skyline Snowpark, with kickers, rails and boxes. But you can also enjoy the winter landscape in the Schilthorn area without skis or board: On a winter hiking trail or the toboggan safari, which leads through forests and past snow-covered chalets. In any case, James Bond didn't have time back then for such a beautiful day programme. He was too busy saving the world.
In the Mürren-Schilthorn ski area, the winter season starts as early as the beginning of November - thanks to snowfarming. We were there for an on-site inspection.
