The Winteregg Restaurant, solidly built out of stone and timber, was opened in 1989.
Amidst unspoiled natural surroundings, this hospitable restaurant with its sunny terrace facing the backdrop of snow capped peaks, provides an oasis of tranquillity for skiers and walkers. Self-service is also catered for. On Sundays in summer a hearty Alpine breakfast is served to the accompaniment of live folk music. Gastronomy enjoys a long tradition here. The Winteregg Railway Station was previously called "Halfway" by the first English visitors and also served meals.
