The via ferrata is open exclusively from June 1 through October 31, from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
Lost property can be handed in and collected at the following locations: Schilthornbahn station building, BLM railway station, Alpine Sports Centre
There is only one cash machine in Mürren, which is located at the Schilthornbahn station in Mürren.
Swiss francs are the main form of payment in Mürren. Euros and dollars are only accepted in very few places. We recommend carrying Swiss francs in cash, as card payments are sometimes not accepted, particularly in mountain restaurants and small shops.
Water running from taps, fountains or toilets is drinking water. Any exceptions are always clearly marked.

- Alpine Sports Centre
A limited number are available at the BLM railway station and at the Schilthornbahn
Mobile phone coverage is good in Mürren. In the surrounding mountainous area, reception can be patchy. Various restaurants and the sports centre offer free Wi-Fi.
The post office is located inside the Coop supermarket.
SEV 1011 is used throughout Switzerland.

Lauterbrunnen Multi-storey Car Park
You will find the Lauterbrunnen multi-storey car park at the entrance to the village, at Lauterbrunnen railway station. Parking spaces can be booked online for a minimum of 5 days (winter) or 3 days (summer).
Stechelberg car park
You will find the car park at the Schilthornbahn station in Stechelberg. We recommend that holidaymakers opt for the pre-payment ticket.
On entering, guests take a ticket and take it to the pay-on-entry machine. Before inserting the ticket, the guest selects the ‘pre-payment ticket’ button and pays the required amount. Their ticket is then re-coded, allowing them to enter and exit as often as they like for 7, 14 or 30 consecutive days.
