Show respect: Say hello and thank people, and give way to pedestrians.
Protect yourself: Wear a helmet, goggles, gloves and other protective kit. Service your bike regularly.
Stay on the track: Respect track closures and riding bans; do not take shortcuts.
Look after the environment: Be considerate of animals and plants. Close gates behind you.
Leave no trace: Avoid getting your wheels stuck and take your rubbish with you
Know your limits: Ride with concentration and anticipate hazards; adjust your speed to the situation and your ability.
