The Schiltalp is the heart of the North Face Trail. Cheese is traditionally made here during the alpine season, and it’s well worth stopping off briefly to sample the alpine cheese straight from the source. The varied hike then leads through the idyllic Blumental valley to the Allmendhubel, offering spectacular views of the famous north faces of the Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau along the way.
