Dining with a breathtaking view - à la carte in the middle of the mountains

The Alpenruh restaurant is one of the cosiest places in Mürren. Not only in summer, but also in winter, guests like to snuggle up in the soft blankets on the sun terrace. When the sun has set and the sunset on the Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau has faded, it's time to move into the parlour.

The Alpenruh serves traditional Swiss dishes ranging from rösti and barley soup to bratwurst. The à la carte restaurant also offers elaborate desserts and simple lunch menus, which are particularly popular with employees of the Schilthorn cableway.

The restaurant is located right in front of the Mürren station of the Schilthorn cableway - the ideal place to stop for a bite to eat during a day of hiking or skiing.
