Schiltgrathüsi mountain restaurant
The sunniest place in the ski area - and right next to the piste
The Schiltgrathüsi is a small hut at 2145 metres above sea level in the Mürren-Schilthorn ski area. The terrace is unique, perhaps the sunniest place in the ski area - with panoramic views of the Bernese Oberland Alps. Here, even in winter, summery feelings arise.
Veronika spoils guests with specialities such as homemade cheese tart, soups and cakes. We also recommend the Schneeflöckli, a hot egg liqueur with cream.
The ski and toboggan run is right next to the Hüsi. From the terrace you can watch the paragliders take off.
The mountain restaurant can be reached via the Schiltgrat ski lift. Alternatively, you can hike from Mürren via Gimmeln to Schiltgrat in around two hours.
