Rotstockhütte via Wasenegg Loop (4 hours 30 mins)

The hike starts off gently as you head up to the Spielbodenalp. This is where the real “mountain hiking” begins, as the route climbs steeply up to the first vantage point, the Bryndli. However, you can only reach this vantage point by making a short detour. Next, you will head for the Rotstockhütte. This mountain hut is also a popular starting point for high Alpine tours.

Detective Trail

How do you motivate children to go hiking? You take them on a puzzle trail!
The route is flat, easy and entertaining and there is a reward for all the detectives at the end.
You can answer the questions in the “Detektiv-Trail Mürren” app. If you would prefer not to use your mobile phone, you can also print out the questions or collect the documents from the Grütschalp Station or the Alpine Sports Centre in Mürren.
