Nature trails or Downhill?
One of the most impressive bike trails in the Bernese Oberland, the Mountain View Trail offers challenging sections and fantastic views of the Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau.
The Grütsch Downhill Trail promises a real adrenaline rush for advanced cyclists. With an average gradient of around 20%, it covers 600 metres in altitude.
Note:
Due to heavy use by hikers, we recommend starting the tours in the early morning or late afternoon.
Tours with culinary delights
The Northface Trail is a slightly shorter tour, but offers just as much riding fun. The Suppenalp and Sonnenberg restaurants invite you to stop for a bite to eat.
The Rotstockhütte is also a wonderful place to stop for refreshments. You can reach it on the
Rotstockhütten Loop. From there, an alpine single trail begins, leading down to the Sefinental valley, through which you can roll comfortably to Gimmelwald.
Note:
Due to heavy use by hikers, we recommend
starting the tours in the early morning hours or
late afternoon.
