Detective Trail

The Detective Trail is an exciting puzzle trail for the whole family. The easy, flat route leads from Grütschalp via Winteregg to Mürren and invites you to enjoy a fun treasure hunt.

Along the way, there are 16 varied puzzles to solve, all about mountains, plants and animals. The children are so engrossed in the adventure that they hardly notice the kilometres they’ve walked.

Anyone who solves all the puzzles correctly can open the treasure chest at the end using the correct numerical code and look forward to a small reward.

Ludotrail

Experience Mürren in a whole new way. The Ludotrail winds its way through the village from station to station, combining exercise, play and adventure. At 16 uniquely designed stations, a variety of challenges await, such as the cheese fondue maze, the coffee-foam puzzle, ibex hockey and the XXL table football. The games are themed to match their locations and can be played in any order. Whether along scenic viewpoints, at cafés or right in the heart of the village, there’s something to discover everywhere.

A game set for up to 4 people keeps you entertained throughout the day and contains everything you need for each station. An adventure for families, groups and anyone who wants to explore Mürren in a fun way.

Flower Park

The funicular takes you from Mürren up to Allmendhubel in just four minutes. Once at the top, you’ll find the Flower Park, an imaginative adventure playground set against a stunning mountain backdrop.

Whilst the adults relax and enjoy themselves on the sunny terrace of the Panorama Restaurant Allmendhubel, the children can embark on a playful journey of discovery through the world of the Alps at the Flower Park. The spacious play area invites them to learn about Alpine flora and fauna in an exciting way.

Children can explore a marmot burrow, play with butterflies, milk cows and discover in a playful way how cheese is made. The Flower Park combines play, learning and nature into a special experience for the whole family and brings life on the alp to life in a truly memorable way.

Dive your fork into a moist cake, feel the sun on your face and take in the panoramic views, whilst the children lose track of time on the playground.

The mountain restaurant is nestled in the heart of nature and can be easily reached by train or via a half-hour walk from Mürren or Grütschalp. Whether on the spacious sun terrace or in the cosy indoor area, families will find a place to relax and enjoy themselves whatever the season.

The children’s playground right next to the restaurant is perfect for playful exploration. In summer, hiking trails criss-cross the area here; in winter, the ski slopes run right past the building. Above the restaurant is also the Winteregg ski lift, which provides direct access to the slopes.

Alpine Sports Centre

The Mürren Alpine Sports Centre is an ideal meeting place for families and offers a wide range of activities for young and old all year round.
At the heart of the centre is a large indoor swimming pool, complemented by a versatile games room featuring table tennis, billiards, table football and darts. For the youngest guests, there is a lovingly designed children’s play area.
In summer, an outdoor football pitch and a pump track encourage exercise and fun, whilst in winter the area is transformed into a large ice rink. Suitable equipment is available for hire for all activities.
Whilst the children are active, parents can relax in the bistro and enjoy a coffee, work out in the fitness area or unwind in the spa. The Alpine Sports Centre is therefore perfect for families whatever the weather.
