360°-Panorama

Schilthorn Piz Gloria

At 2,970 metres, the Schilthorn, with its iconic Piz Gloria, towers above the surrounding landscape, surrounded by over 200 mountain peaks in a stunning high-alpine setting. The striking building rises unmistakably above the summit and offers a unique panoramic experience.

In the world’s first revolving restaurant, a spectacular 360° panorama unfolds: the Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau peaks form the backdrop to the Jungfrau-Aletsch UNESCO World Natural Heritage Site. On the other side, the view stretches across Thunersee and the Mittelland as far as the Jura mountains. On a clear day, the view even extends as far as the Mont Blanc massif or the Schwarzwald forest. The Schilthorn is also world-famous as the filming location for the James Bond film *On Her Majesty’s Secret Service*, a highlight for film fans and mountain lovers alike.

Thrill & Skyline Walk

Birg

Birg is spectacularly situated on a rocky outcrop some 1,000 metres above Mürren, the middle station on the route to the Schilthorn. As the perfect stop-off point, Birg offers not only breathtaking views but also plenty of adrenaline.

The SKYLINE WALK stretches out over the sheer drop, offering a breathtaking panorama. You can get even closer to the rock face on the THRILL WALK, which runs along the steep cliffs. Those who prefer a more leisurely pace can enjoy the view from the bistro’s sun terrace or take the easy walk to the Grauseeli lake with its stunning reflection.

Allmendhubel

The 1,907-metre-high Allmendhubel is a paradise for families and those looking to relax. You can reach this popular day-trip destination in just four minutes by funicular from Mürren. At the top, an impressive panorama awaits, featuring the Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau, as well as the surrounding mountains.

The Panorama Restaurant Allmendhubel invites you to linger on its large sun terrace and enjoy Swiss specialities, whilst children let off steam in the Flower Park. The Allmendhubel is also an ideal starting point for hikes such as the Flower Trail, which features over 150 plant species.
