The healthcare system in Switzerland is multi-tiered and charges fees.
It is important that you contact the right organisation; otherwise, you may incur high costs.
Here you will find the contact details, depending on the issue:
Do you have a minor injury or ailment, such as an insect bite, a sore throat or a cold? Do you need medicine?
Please contact your nearest pharmacy. The qualified staff will give you expert advice and, if necessary, dispense medicine. An emergency service is also available on Sundays and public holidays. Please note that additional costs may apply outside official opening hours (emergency charge).
Important:
Please note that there is no pharmacy in Mürren.
We therefore recommend that you bring any essential medicines for your stay with you.
Essential medicines can be obtained from the Lauterbrunnen GP surgery.
