Gspaltenhorn hut SAC
The peaks and towers of the Gspaltenhorn, Kamel and Roti Zend are known far and wide. The recently modernised alpine and summer hut lies at the foot of these imposing rocks, at the very back of the Kiental valley, on a narrow rocky outcrop high above the Gamchi glacier. In addition to ascents, crossings to neighbouring huts and valleys (Sefinenfurgga, Hohtürli, Gamchilücke) are popular. The hut is one of the 18 manned SAC shelters on the UNESCO World Heritage list.
