The "Photo-House" was built in 1926 by Walter Gabi. Fritz Lauener took over the business from his teacher Julius Burch in 1961 and changed the name to "FotoFritz". Over time, the business changed from a pure photo shop to a souvenir shop with photo articles, equipment, accessories and toys. Fritz and Therese Lauener-Juillerat's son Christian Lauener has been running the business since 2014 to serve our national and international guests here in Wengen.
